The building in which your apartment is located was once a noble townhouse where noble families in the 17th and 18th century lived. This apartment subtly combines this historical aspect with the most modern amenities of today.
You will find that the Ile Saint-Louis has everything you need for daily life including its own pharmacy, grocery store, bakery, newsstand and post office. The island also has shops to cater to your more specific needs: a bakery, cheese shop, wine shop, florist and more.

REVIEW ON TRIP ADVISOR FLIP KEY DATED FROM JUNE 14TH 2010: "Home away from home" We stayed at anthirium for two weeks. Guestapartment service is a first class operation. When we arrived their office was busy. They recognized we were tired so instead of having us wait for the paperwork they gave us the keys, told us to rest and come back later for the details of check in. The driver handled our luggage up the 4 flights of stairs. The apartment was bigger and better than I imagined. Modern kitchen w/ washer dryer (I used the clothesline outside on the patio). Firm matress which we prefer. Great shower. The bathtub is heaven for a tired body after sight seeing, as were the very comfortable leather chairs and sofa. Some nights were cold and the wall heaters worked perfectly, some days were hot but the apartment stayed cool. The Ile de St Louis has everything you need. After wandering around Paris I found I really looked forward to coming back to the island and just hanging out there. Can one get used to walking past Notre Dame??? We ate at all the restaraunts on the island and were happy with them all. The corner cafes are quite the hot spot for people watching. This island has retained it's charm, there are no Tshirt shops here. A touch of class. There was no downside to the whole experience. Lovely!!!

Bonjour- Thank you for the follow-up. We had a most splendid visit, much due to the comfort of the apartment but especially due to your services. Thomas was such a help to us and we appreciate all the efforts made on our behalf by all to secure reservations and make recommendations, etc. and to welcoming us to your neighborhood. We have much more to explore in Paris, I'm sure. But what we did experience left us looking forward to returning as soon as possible and keen to do some French language studies! The restaurants were all wonderful experiences and we'll look to return to each of them when next we visit. Bonjour Philippe, Thank you for letting me know that all was well with the apartment. We had a wonderful time in Paris, and thank you for getting us settled in so quickly and efficiently. We absolutely loved staying in Anthurium! The apartment was so conveniently located for both left and right bank activities. And with such a great view, we spent a lot of time in the evening just looking out across the river. Also, the weather was so nice during our stay that we were able to spend some time enjoying the lovely terrace as well after our foray to the Bastille Market on Sunday. We also frequently enjoyed the patisserie you recommended, and we lucked into a fabulous meal at Les Fous de L'ile. We walked a lot, but we mastered the Paris metro in no time. Thanks to your directions, we did make it to the quincaillerie in the basement of the BHV for my husband's suitcase repair, which was actually a fun (and I suspect non-typical) experience. Bonjour Christophe & Philippe, It is very hard to start- but very simply from the bottom of our hearts, thank you very much for such a wonderful experience in Paris & especially at the apartment Anthurium at Ile Saint Louis.I think the success of a boutique operation such as yours does so because of the personal touches you all add and there is just no doubt that both you Christophe & Philippe have done so in manner & style that was simply exemplary.There are so many things to thank you for so here goes To Philippe for putting up with our countless emails, giving us endless suggestions to galleries, confirming all our bookings to Michel Rostang,Pierre Gagnaire and especially recommending the restaurant Le Villaret plus organizing all the taxis & private car transfers for us. To Christophe for organizing that very special day to Beaune, the restaurant at Le Benaton(very good indeed)- without the visit to Beaune I would not have stumbled on a little wine shop & sourced my Armand Rousseau ’06 plus that very special Lecheneaut-Clos de la Roche- now all safely in my cellar!! Plus virtually doing all the bookings inc train travel & Vincent to pick us up at 0600 hrs. Also well beyond the call of duty you kindly drove us to the restaurant Aux Lyonnais when we could not get a taxi because it was raining. The list just goes on, such as recommending that fantastic boucher Jean Paul Gardil for some great guinea hen/chicken from Perigord & Charolais steaks . Also a very special thanks to Vincent for all the private car transfers(good to see he has the same car as us so we were quite at home!) and to Thomas at your office for all that special extras that we needed help on-I promise you I shall learn a little more French next time( also thanks for recommending the cheese shop next to the boucher-he did not have much but what he had to sell was truly first class, some of which we order here specially to be air-flown to Melbourne.
