LOCATION: Situated on the South side of Ile Saint Louis. You will enjoy being at the middle of historic Paris, but without all the noise and traffic of cars or people. This Paris vacation rental apartment is a quiet haven. You will find on the Island all the convenient shops and boutiques creating a real village spirit with authentic bakery, grocery, butcher, post office, restaurants... In this apartment you are within walking distance to Notre Dame Cathedral. You will be very close to all sorts of entertainment and curiosities : the Louvre, the Pompidou centre, the Left Bank and Latin Quarter, the Saint Chapelle. For those who love to explore on foot, this location represents a rare opportunity. The little village of the Ile Saint Louis will enchant you with its very warm and friendly atmosphere.

VACATION RENTAL FEATURES ON THIS PARIS APARTMENT RENTAL :
- Located in a 17th century elegant building on avery quiet courtyard which has just been totally renovated only one year ago.
- The apartment is on the Noble Floor: 1st French Floor.
- General ambiance features: cozy and convivial atmosphere with chevron parquet, large windows, antique furnishings, well organized configuration of each room, French lithographs and engravings, working fireplace in the living room (please consult us for any request for using it).
- A fully tiled bathroom with a bath tub and shower fixture, a washbasin with a large mirror, toiletries cabinets to organize your personal accessories. Hairdryer. The separate WC located next to the kitchen.
- A fully equipped kitchen offers all electrical conveniences: electric burners, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
- The dining room and living room areas have two large windows that open over the private courtyard. There is a lovely 19th century buffet with a white marble top, two Louis XVI style armchairs, a cocktail table and a couch with a floor lamp and a small secretary desk. The dining area is organized with a large antique table accompanied by four chairs. A deep alcove is set into the right side of this room where there is an antique double bed with closing curtain for privacy (extra sleeping accommodation).
- Several 19th century objects d'art and framed engravings add to the convivial atmosphere.
- The very quiet bedroom has also a window overlooking the courtyard, a non working fire place and chevron parquet. The bedroom has a large 19th century wardrobe with a full mirror. A queen size bed will hopefullt provide you with sweet, restful nights. There are two bedside tables with reading lamps.
- Quality linen are provided for the total number of guests.
- Red taffeta curtains will either add a touch of color or will cut out the light should you need an afternoon nap.
- Other electrical amenities are provided to insure your complete comfort: Cable TV with CNN and all main international channels, a new DVD player multi zones, hi-fi stereo with CD player, private telephone line with answering machine.
- WIFI internet installed with access to unlimited free connection.
- The building is absolutely secure. There is a very nice custodian in the building that has lived there for over 20 years.

Bonjour Philippe and Christophe, Thank you and yes we arrived back in Australia safely but very tired and jet-lagged. Our stay in Paris was truly marvelous and we loved every minute of our time on the Ile Saint-Louis. The Tulip apartment was ideal for our stay and enabled us to walk everywhere, particularly to all the tourist places that we ,as first time visitors, wanted to see. Our day in the Champagne region, arranged through Vincent's chauffeur service, was a great day and a lot of fun. We safely took back to Australia 2 bottles of local champagne to drink with friends. Life on the ile is very relaxed and safe and our son enjoyed many a sorbet (Berthillon) whilst we enjoyed un verre de vin rouge or champagne. Paris is a beautiful city with wonderful architecture and our visits to le Louvre and Musee d'Orsay gave us a remarkable experience into the cultural heritage of France. Merci beaucoup for your helpful and efficient service which really helped to make our stay relaxed and stress-free. We hope to return soon to your wonderful city. Dear Phillipe & Christophe Thanks for your email finalising arrangements for our recent stay in Paris. Rest assured we greatly enjoyed our time in "Callas" and will certainly be suggesting to any of our friends who intend visiting Paris to seriously consider "Guest Apartment Services" before looking at any other accommodation options. In addition, "Le Petit Pontoise", suggested in your notes for guests, was a real find. We dined there on all bar 2 evenings and, on reflection, should have done so every night. Even after 4 dinners we weren't half way through the seductive options on the menu. You would, in our opinion, be serving your clients really well if you strengthened your recommendation. We have no idea if or when we will make it to Paris again, but will certainly be looking to "Guest Apartments" if we do. Please give Jean-Paul our apologies for bothering him with our foolish inability to get the dryer to work; our concerns arose from worry that we would damage the machine if we turned the dial the correct way as there seemed to be unusual resistance in the knob when we tried this. Thanks for the nice accommodations in Paris. The Tulip turned out to be perfect for us! The location, the quiet, the marvellous sounds of church bells every day, along with children playing only added to the ambience. We loved being on the island, close to so many interesting places. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Everything about the Tulip let me know I was in Paris, and made me feel it was my home. One thing for those who have not had the glacee on the island . . . If you are staying for a week in Paris, consider an apartment over a hotel. Though it may not have all the English language television stations, you aren't in Paris to watch TV. This was the second time we've used Guest Apartment Services (www.guestapartment.com). It is a great alternative from hotels. There's more space, a kitchen (fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, plates, glasses, etc) and the ability to get the feel of living in Paris. Our apartment, on Ile St. Louis was centrally located, easy to get to metro or the "boat" bus for easy on/off along the river. The kitchen provides you with the opportunity for a cheap and easy breakfast. With all the stores and bakeries around, stock up on bottled water, soda, and the basic foods for Paris, i.e., great bread and butter. Finally, Philippe was great, especially patient in making all of our lunch and dinner reservations--he'll also arrange transportation to/from the airport. Although no "formal" concierge, Philippe and Christophe are there to make life easy and located near (walking distance) most of the apartments.
