  • This outstanding apartment has just been totally renovated and revamped by its owner, highlighting historic features such as the stone wall and the beams, using only high quality materials. The apartment now appears in soft light beige, cream, and brown tones, visible stone walls dating from the 17th century, exposed beams, and terra cotta floors in the living area with cream marble covering the kitchen and bath. Moreover, the double-glazing windows ensure the utmost calm and serenity. The result: a unique blend that respects the history whilst giving it a modern and a few contemporary touches.
  • This 2nd floor apartment is set out as follows: A large living-dining room very tastefully redone and furnished, adjoining bedroom area, a full size open kitchen containing all amenities, and a magnificent bathroom. Here, "old world" charm and modern comfort come together in harmony.
  • The layout is simple and convenient. You enter into the kitchen area, with the bathroom to your left (towards the interior of the building), whereas the living area, dining area and the bedroom are to the right side - from here, you enjoy splendid views of the city.
  • The colour scheme (beige, cream, sand and burnt orange) creates a warm and relaxing atmosphere throughout this airy and charming apartment. The dining area, consisting of a round dining table with four matching chairs, presents an ideal setting for intimate and private dinners.

  • The bedroom area is discreetly tucked to the back of the apartment. The new queen size bed is a cozy spot for an afternoon read or nap. Throw pillows and cushion assure a comfortable and restful experience.
  • The beautifully redone bathroom is in cream and beige tones, boasts exquisite brass fixtures, marble surfaces in beige tones and a large bowl wash basin with lit mirror. We enjoyed many of the restaurants you recommended, on L'Ile St Louis, walking back to the apartment after dinner. We felt like we lived in Paris in a small dream. Vincent was great! He was waiting for us at the airport; the first person we saw as we left the baggage area. He delivered us safely, battling traffic, to the apartment, got us settled (on a Sunday), and recommended where to have lunch. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Os amigos perguntaram aonde ficamos hospedados desta vez. Resolvemos mudar os hábitos e alugar um pequeno estúdio dentro da Île Saint-Louis. É o mais próximo do paraíso que achamos. A ilha é grande o suficiente para caber tudo o que interessa e a mesmo tempo pequena o suficiente para não se ter motivo para estresse e fugir do alvoroço dos turistas que invadem Paris. Poucos são os que andam por ali, a não ser no fim de semana no qual os franceses correm para lá para passar as tardes de sábado e domingo, passeando, almoçando, jantando ou somente vendo o show dos artistas de rua, principalmente na ponte de acesso à Notre Dame. A idéia era estar ali como se ali morássemos. Valeu. O estúdio tinha tudo - boa cama, banheiro de primeira qualidade, cozinha completa (inclusive com louças, talheres e copos, panelas) além de máquina de lavar roupas e internet grátis.
