In the heart of Paris, the discreet Ile Saint-Louis is one of the most enchanting places to stay in the city of light. Deliciously preserved, it keeps its calm and elegance. Connected by a small bridge to the Ile de la Cité, it is very close to Notre-Dame cathedral.
It is a village in the city, with an architecture barely unchanged for almost 400 years. Many buildings were built in the 16th century for noble families, on the quays of what was once called «Île aux Vaches». Île Saint-Louis is crossed by rue Saint-Louis-en-l’Île from east to west. It is the heart of the island, that host a baroque church, fine shops, old-fashioned bistros and brasseries, pretty candy and cake shops, grocery stores, bakeries and a florist. After only one day or two, it is easy to feel at home in this timeless location.
Connected to the rest of Paris by six bridges, the access to the most important and beautiful monuments located near the island is easy: the Louvre Museum, the Latin Quarter and Sainte Chapelle, the Pompidou Center, all within walking distance. The Pont-Marie and Saint Paul metro stations connect with prestigious sites such as the Opéra Garnier, the Palais Royal or the Champs Elysees.

THE APARTMENT

• Located on Île Saint-Louis, this elegant apartment is on the third floor of a beautiful 20th century building with elevator, close to restaurants, food shops and fine boutiques. The 80 square meters have been completely renovated in a contemporary and elegant style that highlights the entire space. In the living area, three large double glazed windows overlook the beautiful shops across the street. The two bedrooms offer a view on a small garden, in a quiet courtyard. Because of the natural light mixed with a well-mastered space, a beautiful energy flow through the entire apartment.

• From the entrance one feel a beautiful opening onto the south facing living space, decorated with a refined taste. The light brown wooden floors and white walls highlight the elegant harmony, completed by mirrors and lamps judiciously arranged. It is an invitation for relaxation or for sharing a special moment.

• The large open living area is organized in three spaces: the living room, the dining room and the kitchen. In the living room, near one of the three windows, a large and comfortable dark violet sofa and two armchairs covered with a golden yellow fabric, are centered on a contemporary style square table. A light carpet adds a soothing note to this place dedicated to a time of rest after a long day of cultural visits, or to share an aperitif before dinner.

• Located before the kitchen, just in front of a second large window, the dining room can accommodate up to 6 people around a modern brown table, set on a red carpet. Pretty lamps create an intimate atmosphere for fine dinners.

• The spacious built in open kitchen, is organized around a large central worktop, where you can share a “tête à tête” meal. The large window provide a good flow of natural light. It is entirely equipped with a fridge and freezer, microwave, oven, induction hob, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Household is also available: coffee maker, Nespresso, toaster, kettle, as well as dishes, glasses and cutlery.

• A small hallway leads to the master bedroom, with an en suite bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower, two sinks, toilet and towel warmer. The bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed and a spacious wardrobe. Two bedside tables, prints and a mirror complete the decor of this beautiful quiet and bright space, overlooking the green courtyard.

• An additional room, which has an office function, can be modulated to become a second bedroom, with a sofa bed convertible into a double bed. It overlooks the green courtyard and provides rest and calm. A shower room with a sink is attached to the room.

• A second toilet is available for guests near the front door.

• Also available: telephone with private line.

• WIFI internet with unlimited Free connection is provided.
