LOCATION
At the heart of historical Paris, overlooking right on the Place des Vosges,it is a large “pied à terre” full of charm with all the comforts of luxury. This tastefully contemporary furnished 3 bedroom’s apartment cultivates an elegant atmosphere and seduces the one who is in search of calm and discretion. Under the arcades of the square, it is a delight to browse the antique shops, visiting art galleries or have dinner in a good restaurant. Near the bustling Place de la Bastille, prestigious 17th century’s mansion become museum like Picasso and Carnavalet, or shops in Rue des Francs-Bourgeois. The Bastille Opera House, the Seine, Ile Saint-Louis and Notre-Dame de Paris are within easy walking distance. This apartment is also close to rue de Rivoli where one can find shops and transportations.
THE APARTMENT
- This Paris luxury rental apartment, located at the third floor with an attic structure combines the sophistication of the 17th century with the comforts and the convenience of today
- The monumental grand forged iron staircase cascades up to the apartment, it reflects the magnificence of this historic area.
- The entrance way gives access to all the rooms: two bedrooms on the left, and the attic third bedroom accessible by a small stone staircase, the living room on the right and the dining room and kitchen at the end of the property. The floor is burgundy stone style except for the bedrooms and the living room.
- The living room offers a spacious and luxury English style antique furnishings around a carved decorative stone chimney. Three comfortable large couches surround an elegant round wrought iron coffee table with a transparent glass tray. The light in the wall niches highlight some artefacts or showpieces. An antique desk and framed oil paintings add to the elegance of this room. From that room, a spiral staircase communicates with the third bedroom.
- The Louis XIII style dining room offers a set with a long table that seats comfortably 6 persons. The walls are adorned with large colored paintings. The wooden beams, the stone floor together with the window overlooking the Place des Vosges creates a real 17th century spirit.
- The fully equipped spacious kitchen offers the appliances you need for serious cooking needs. The highlight is the spectacular ancient stone chimney that overlook the a real professional stove. All the necessary accessories and electrical appliances are at your disposal: dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, washing machine, dryer, conventional oven, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, and toaster. All dishes, cutlery, glassware, table clothes are provided.
