saint Germain des prés paris  This luxury one-bedroom apartment is situated rue Racine, one of the French capital’s most centrally located neighborhoods, at the limit of St. Germain-des-Pres, and near the Quartier Latin (Latin Quarter) the great universities district. It is the perfect setting to admire the best architecture, art and French culture in Paris.
A few footsteps from your front door, the Luxemburg Palace (Palais du Luxembourg), built in 1625 by Salomon de Brosse for Queen Marie de Medicis, widow of King Henry IV of France, the Palais du Luxembourg housed the royal family. Behind the Palace, the Luxembourg Gardens that cover 23 hectares and is known for its lawns, tree-lined promenades, flowerbeds, the model sailboats on its circular basin, and for the picturesque Medicis Fountain, built in 1620.The garden today is owned by the French Senate, which meets in the Palace.
It is celebrated as the epicenter of the Parisian cultural life with the Paris-Sorbonne University that is the main inheritor of the old Sorbonne, which dates back to the 13th century. It was one of the first universities in the world. The largest institution in France dedicated to the study of literature, languages, civilizations, arts, humanities and social sciences is located on the original medieval foundations, and now extends to the Latin Quarter and to other areas in Paris.
 The neighborhood is home to elegant 17th and 18th century hôtels particuliers, which lead the way to food shops, cafes, fine restaurants and boutiques on the fashionable Place saint Sulpice.

SHOPPING & RESTAURANTS: The area will offer you all daily shopping you may need with several supermarkets, bakeries, services, fines shops & several small bistros and restaurants,
like La Palette, that is protected by the National Monuments institution.



  • Ambiance :  This 19th century construction is located near the Luxemburg Gardens, the Theatre de l’Europe, the Medical University and the Sorbonne University. The building offers all security and privacy, protected by a front door code and interphone. The foyer entrance of the building opens through a glass door onto a large hall with stained glass windows and a majestic marble staircase. An elevator equipped with a folding seat gives you access to the 6th floor.
  • The configuration of the apartment has been renovated and remodelled respecting the charm materials of the past.This elegant pied-à-terre combines the large attic space with the comfort and convenience of modern amenities. All windows are equipped with double glazing to prevent from the noise of the street.
  • This surface of 70 square meters is very well appointed and you will feel at home in a luxury bohemian chic atmosphere.
  • The entrance opens direct to the spacious living room that is a mix of modern architecture and antic furniture. As for the seating arrangement, you will find a comfortable sofa along with five elegant armchairs centered on a large coffee table. A library propose a great choice of art editions. A large carpet adorns the wooden floor and complete the warm atmosphere. From the window, one can see the towers of the Saint Sulpice church and the roofs of Paris.
  • The dining area is set after the living room. Around an ancient round table, you will be able to seat six with ease on bistro chairs. On one side, the window opens on the roofs of Paris on the other side is the open kitchen. The floor is made of large burgundy stone tiles as well as the kitchen working plan.
  • The spacious kitchen is built in with glossy beige closets. It offers all the appliances you need for serious cooking needs, such as a stove, fridge, microwave oven, freezer, coffee maker, toaster, electrical kettle. All necessary cutlery, glassware and crockery are also available for the finest dinners.
  • From the living room, by a sliding door, one enter into the cozy bedroom that offers a queen size bed. The ensuite bathroom is featuring a walk in shower, a sink, a towel warmer. The washing machine is located in a corner of this spacious area.
  • A separate lavatory is adjacent to the living room.
  • All the apartment has been furnished and decorated with selective antique furnishings and many framed modern and old paintings.             
  • This property has the added benefit of free unlimited WiFi access. During Summertime, we are pleased to provide a portable A/C unit for your comfort, free of charge
