How glad we are that we discovered Guest Apartment Services--thanks to in an article in Travel and Leisure magazine. Our apartment, Ortensia, was in the perfect location--between Ile St. Louis and the Marais--on a quiet street that was close to Metros (though walking is the best way to see Paris), boulangeries, patisseries, fromageries, and wine shops. We stayed for four weeks,in a lovely one-bedroom apartment that met all of our needs (including high-speed internet). Guest Apartment Services was a wonderful host, even accepting deliveries for us from amazon.fr. Staying in an apartment is a wonderful way to experience Paris. Bonjour Philippe and Christophe, Denise and I want to let you know that we really enjoyed our trip to Paris and that we appreciate your help in making it a wonderful vacation. We found the Ortensia to be very comfortable and conveniently located - we made good use of all the shops in the neighborhood. We had dinner two nights at Le Temps Des Cerises, a small restaurant located just over one block away - it was cozy and friendly. We also liked the St. Regis on Ile St Louis a lot (we had our first meal in Paris there on our last visit) - the Eggs Benedict with Norwegian salmon was worth two trips. We will also return to L'Epouvantail for a dinner. Of course, we visited a number of museums and sites. We look forward to visiting Paris again in the spring or summer so I will be contacting you after we narrow down that time frame a little more. Dear Christophe, Thank you all so much for your kind service. You, Marie and Liliane made us feel more like guests than clients. I hope your cold is better. Ortensia was even better in person than in the pictures. It is well equipped and the minor things that we requested were supplied the next day, always with a smile. The building was so quiet, that we thought we were the only ones there - until we passed someone on the stairs on in the courtyard. The location is fantastic, with easy walking to many other areas, convenient to the two nearby metros, stores, shops, restaurants, groceries and just for wandering around and enjoying Paris. When we arrived, and mid-way through our three week stay, 8/31/13 - 9/21/13, the beautiful roses and carnations were greatly appreciated and made the apartment feel even more like home. The furnishings were in excellent condition and very comfortable, including the wonderful queen sized bed. Having two separate bathrooms was an added and much apprecitaed bonus. The lovely kitchen was well equipped and we ate diner at home several times and prepared our morning breakfasts ... supplemented of course with a fresh baguette and some pastries from the nearby bakeries. The initial problems were taken care of by you very quickly. We wish that we could have stayed for an entire month, but unfortunately it was only available for three weeks. We were also pleased with both of the drivers that picked us up and returned us to the airport. It was a pleasure to ride with them, as both of them helped with our luggage, both up and down the stairs and made our trips to and from the airport extremely easy and comfortable in their luxury vehicles, and their interesting conversations. We heartedly recommend this service as the easiest way to arrive in, and depart from Paris. We have rented numerous apartments in Paris over the years, some through agencies and some directly from the owners. Some were good and some were bad, this is the very first time that we were completely satisfied with the service and the apartment itself and will look no further for our next stay, hopefully next year. Our stay in Ortensia and hosted by Guest Services lacked nothing. When we opened the doors to our apartment we were greeted by a lovely bouquet of red roses and white lilies. The three rooms were sparkling clean. All the appliances worked in the kitchen, the sheets on the bed were fresh and the towels in the bathrooms deep and plush. Our quiet street offered a refuge from the busy times out in the city. The courtyard off our bedroom echoed the soft cooing of pigeons and the occasional sound of footsteps on the cobblestones below. Our neighbors were quiet, friendly, and evidenced pride in their building. The few times we asked for help from Guest Services, their response was immediate and always friendly. They bent over backwards to make our stay easy. The cleaning service provided, too, was superb and consistent. The drivers to and from the airport were courteous, friendly, and completely helpful. Dear Christophe, What a wonderful trip to Paris! it was a most memorable and lovely 8 days. The Ortensia apartment was truly beautiful, the kitchen was great for all of the cooking I did, the location superb, as the food markets were incredible and the Metro very convenient for sightseeing. Of course, the Marais has fabulous shopping as well. Thank you for the effort you put in to correct the apartment situation. It most definitely worked to my advantage! The driver, Michelle, was prompt and very nice, both with pick up and drop off at the airport, a terrific service. Bonjour Philippe and Christophe!!! We had a wonderful, exciting and adventurous time in Paris. Our trip could not have been better! It was truly wonderful to come "home" at the end of the day after exploring your exquisite city and nestle down in our comfortable beds with a good book before falling asleep from exhaustion. We were so well located that we walked or used the subway to get every where we wanted to go! The apartment was very comfortable and having the second bathroom and the well equipped kitchen was great!! The kitchen allowed us to eat "at home" on a couple of evenings.
