We wanted to thank you for your professionalism and courtesies in making our stay on Ile St. Louis so enjoyable. Gardenia was a perfect “home away from home”. The location close to the metros and the RER made our excursions effortless. And we loved the time spent on the island itself, exploring the many restaurants, shops, galleries, bakeries and specialty shops, and points of interest. Your list was an asset. Gardenia’s kitchen was well-equipped, which made breakfast and an occasional dinner easily executed. The bathroom was spacious, and the wardrobe provided more than ample clothing storage. The views from the windows, with the lovely geranium-planted flower boxes, gave us a glimpse into Parisian life. We even enjoyed participating in your recycling program, which we’ve become more mindful of back here at home. The bedroom was quiet, with a minimum of vehicular traffic, and the drapes blocked the light. The linens on the beds were quality. The living room was understated elegance and very inviting. We brought movies from home, which didn’t play on the DVD player, but you directed us to a movie shop nearby, and that issue was quickly resolved. And we enjoyed playing our CDs on your player. We appreciated both your quick response to our request for linens on the couch when my son arrived and your arranging our transportation to the airport for departure.
