We just got back from a weeks stay at 3 different apartments, Cherry, Lilas, & Ginger. We were a group of 3 families: my partner and myself, and his two grown daughters and their husbands. We wanted to be close but not stay in the same apartment. So the above one bedroom apartments were in one building with an elevator, providing us with easy access to one another. And the building security was comforting. We were in the heart of Ile St. Louis convenient to sights, trains, and the metro. Food on the island and off was wonderful. Service was great and the apartments so much bigger and less expensive than comparable hotels. The 24 hour emergency service was a plus for us even though we never used it. The apartments were well furnished and decorated. The kitchen supplies were new, the towels fluffy and the bathrobes and slippers a comfy touch. The washer/dryer combo was weird and the hand dried laundry dried better than that in the dryer, but it was there and we didn't have to go to an anonymous laundromat. Some of the infrastructure of the apartment could use updating (carpet in bedroom, closet shelves) but those were minor as the apartment was spotless. We got air-conditioning because we were concerned that we would need it. And Paris weather is odd, our days ranged from 75 to 95 with no relationship one day to the next. Glad we had it on the 2 very hot days. Vincent picked us up from the airport, a very convenient and cost-wise service for 6 people and luggage. I would definitely use this group again. I was comforted that there was someone available and we weren't "left on our own" in a strange city.
