I cannot speak highly enough of the care and attention that I received from Guest Services during my week long stay at Alyssum.  All personnel are gracious and genuinely committed to making sure their guests have the best possible experience.  The apartment itself is immaculately cared for and is beautifully furnished.  It is half a block from the Metro and within walking distance to the Seine.  It does very quiet with the windows closed (it was too cold to keep them open when I was there) and the bedroom faces a courtyard in the back so is particularly quiet. There is no "view" to speak of but the building directly across from the apartment is a lovely french character building and is quite pleasant to look at through the sheer curtains.  The owner has provided an extensive collection of guide books in English.
