LOCATION
One of the most prestigious addresses in Paris, this exquisite Paris apartment for rent is situated right on the tip of the Ile Saint-Louis and overlooks the river Seine as it flows at your feet. Here you are right in the centre of Paris and within easy walking distance of the Louvre, Pompidou Centre, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the Latin and Marais quarters, as well as within a 5 minute walk to the nearest subway stations. This building was built during “La belle époque” after the style of Baron Haussmann in the second half of the 19th century.
THE APARTMENT
- The building itself was built during the high point of urban renewal in Paris in the second half of the 19th century in the style made famous by architectural legend, the baron Haussmann.
- A classical and modern influence through various “objets d’Art”. Step into a classic, Parisian apartment of the Belle Époque.
- The balcony looking onto the river provides a real nice view on Ile de la Cité, the Latin quarter and the Dome of Pantheon.
- The living room is organized with a comfortable sofa, a modern coffee table and art deco arm chairs around a classical non working fireplace. The walls are adorned with paintings.
- A separate dining room, adjacent to the living room where you will be able to seat four with ease
- The separate bedroom offers a new king size bed. There are night stands and a large closet for all your clothing and luggage. It leads to a smaller office room with an antique large writing desk.
- The bathroom features a large mirror, washbasin and a newly renovated large walk in shower. A hair dryer is also furnished as well as toiletries.
- The kitchen is large enough to prepare gourmet French meals. The appliances are discreetly hidden behind cabinet doors: fridge, freezer, washer and dishwasher.
- For a maximum comfort other modern electrical appliances are at your disposal in this weekly rental: A plasma TV with cable offering the main international channels with CNN, BBC…Private telephone line.
